Studying Nature: Unlocking the Secrets of Our Living World!

One of the ways we truly know things is through the study of our natural world. Science isn’t just about finding facts, it’s about looking for repeated patterns to help us understand how things work. Research shows us that every living thing survives because of how their biological systems work. The places where things live, their habitats and ecosystems, are kept in balance by the biological, chemical, and physical systems in nature. To solve problems in nature, we first need to understand how these systems work and then what’s causing the problems. Studying nature in the ocean and learning from animals in zoos or aquariums helps scientists protect wildlife and make sure that Earth stays as full of biodiversity as possible for future generations.
